Terms of Service
Last updated August 25, 2026
These terms apply to this website, to our demonstration phone lines, and to messages we exchange with you. Work we do for paying clients is governed by the separate written agreement for that project, which takes priority over anything here.
Who we are
Kollaborate is a sole proprietorship operated by Joseph Brodt in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We build websites and set up AI phone answering systems for local service businesses. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Kollaborate, and “you” means the person or business using this site or our lines.
Using this website
You may read this site, contact us through it, and call the numbers on it. You may not attempt to break into it, scrape it at a scale that degrades it for others, resell its contents, or use it to send us anything unlawful.
Our demonstration phone lines
The phone numbers published on this site are demonstrations of our product. They are answered by an AI assistant, not by a person.
- Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can review how the assistant performed. If you do not want to be recorded, do not call, and email us instead.
- The assistant is a demonstration. Anything it says about availability, timing, or price is illustrative and is not a binding offer.
- The demonstration lines are not an emergency service and must never be used to report an emergency.
- Please do not give the assistant sensitive information such as payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or health information. It does not need any of it.
Text messages
If you call a demonstration line, the assistant may ask your permission to text you a short recap and a booking link. We send it only if you agree during the call. Message frequency is low and typically amounts to a single message. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance. We do not share or sell mobile numbers or text message consent to third parties or affiliates. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Quotes, pricing, and proposals
Prices shown on this site are current at the time of publication and may change. A price becomes binding only when it appears in a written quote or agreement we send you directly and you accept it. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance on its own.
Client work
Projects we take on are governed by a separate written agreement covering scope, payment, timelines, and ownership. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, the project agreement wins. Our standard practice is a deposit before work begins, with the balance due before a site goes live on your domain.
Intellectual property
The design, copy, and code of this website belong to us. Work we produce for a client transfers to that client according to the terms of their project agreement, normally on full payment. Any trade marks or business names shown as examples belong to their respective owners.
No guarantee of results
We build tools that help businesses answer more calls and win more work. We do not guarantee any particular number of calls, bookings, customers, or revenue. Any figures used on this site to illustrate how the maths works are examples, not predictions about your business.
Third-party services
Our service depends on providers including Twilio, Vapi, and Vercel. Outages, changes, or policy decisions by those providers can affect the service, and we are not responsible for their failures. We will always tell you plainly when something upstream has broken.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of this website or the demonstration lines is limited to the amount you have paid us, if any. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Quebec.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
