SMS Messaging Program
Last updated August 25, 2026
This page documents exactly how Kollaborate collects permission to send text messages, what we send, and how to stop. There is no web form to sign up for our messages. Permission is given out loud, during a phone call you place to us.
How permission is given
Our demonstration phone lines are answered by an AI assistant. Permission to text you is collected during that call, in the conversation itself, and only from callers who dialled us first. The sequence is always the same.
- You call one of our published demonstration numbers. We never call or text you first.
- During the conversation the assistant asks, in substance: “Is it alright if I text you a quick recap and a booking link at this number? Message and data rates may apply.”
- If you say yes, we send the message. If you say no, or say nothing clear, we send nothing.
- Your answer and the time you gave it are recorded against the call record, along with the call transcript.
What we send
One message, shortly after the call ends. It contains a brief recap of what you and the assistant discussed and a link to book a follow up conversation on our own website.
We also send an internal notification to our own business owner letting him know a demonstration call took place. That message goes to our own phone, not to yours.
What we do not send
- No recurring campaigns, drip sequences, or automated follow up reminders.
- No promotional blasts, newsletters, or offers.
- No messages to anyone who did not call us and say yes on the call.
- No messages from any number you did not dial.
Permission given on a call covers that conversation. If we ever want to text you again later for a different reason, we ask again first.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency is low, and in most cases amounts to a single message per call. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Kollaborate does not charge you anything to receive our messages.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message from us and we stop immediately. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also email joseph@kollaborate.ca and ask us to stop, and we will.
Privacy of your number
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, or consent to receive text messages, to any third party or affiliate. Your number is used to reply to you and for nothing else. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy, and the terms covering our demonstration lines are in our Terms of Service.
